“Evan’s extensive cybersecurity leadership experience across Financial Services, Federal Government, Defense, and Retail gives him a unique perspective on the security challenges facing today’s enterprises,” said Jon Lieberman, CEO and Co-Founder of Acium. “His hands-on approach to cybersecurity transformation and unwavering focus on embedding security at the foundation of technology innovation perfectly align with our mission to secure the browser-first workplace.”
Morgan brings a wealth of practical security leadership experience, having orchestrated large-scale cybersecurity transformations across multiple industries. His security expertise was initially forged during his service in the United States Air Force following 9/11, where he supported various airframes across four continents while developing specialized cybersecurity skills. As a civilian, Morgan has held CISO and security executive positions implementing comprehensive security programs for organizations across varied sectors.
“The browser has become the primary workspace for today’s enterprises, yet remains one of the most vulnerable attack vectors,” said Morgan. “Traditional security approaches fail to address the unique challenges of browser-centric work environments. Acium’s innovative Unified Browser Security™ technology represents a fundamental shift in how we approach browser security—embedding protection at the core while maintaining the flexibility and productivity that modern businesses require.”
Beyond his operational roles, Morgan currently serves as an advisor to multiple cybersecurity startups and venture capital networks, helping to catalyze innovation in the security space. He is also the founder of Cyber Defense Army (CDA), a full-service cybersecurity consultancy and managed services provider that reached 7-figure revenues in 2024.
“What sets Acium apart is their understanding that effective browser security must balance robust protection with practical usability,” added Morgan. “Their comprehensive approach to securing the browser ecosystem addresses critical gaps in enterprise security architecture while empowering organizations to embrace browser-first productivity.”
As browsers become the primary workspace for business, traditional security tools are falling short. Acium’s patent-pending Unified Browser Security™ technology transforms any browser into a secure, managed workspace—delivering zero-trust security, complete visibility, and comprehensive management in one platform.
Morgan will leverage his extensive cybersecurity expertise to help guide Acium’s product strategy and market approach, ensuring the company’s solutions continue to address the evolving security needs of enterprises across all industries.
Founded in November 2024, Acium is the pioneer in Unified Browser Security™. The company’s patent-pending technology protects and manages every browser in an organization from a single, intuitive hub, offering unparalleled visibility, control, and real-time threat protection. With advanced extension risk scoring, Acium helps businesses identify and mitigate threats from risky browser extensions, strengthening security without disrupting workflows. Acium enables organizations to keep their preferred browsers while safeguarding sensitive data, ensuring secure browsing, and simplifying management.
